Brooklyn-based rapper FoggieRaw and R&B songstress Ari Lennox recently announced the release of their new track “Stay Awhile”, set to drop this Friday, April 26.
On Monday (April 22), Foggie took to his Instagram with a caption that read, “U don’t remember these times?” Ms. Lennox took the same approach, with her caption reading, “Stay awhile, you are always gone too soon. This very Friday.”
Unless you have an in-depth background of how they first met, fans can speculate that the musical pair began their collaborative relationship last year on the Dave James-produced track, “TGI Fridays”, a song and visual combo that supports the need to have these two artists returning to making hits together.
Ari Lennox & Foggieraw look like they vibe so well together, and they fit so perfectly on this track tbh

I’ve recently gotten back to my SoundCloud roots (my go-to platform for all indie/underground music back in the days), and was pleasantly surprised to hear Foggie for the first time on his track, “Psalm 62” a few weeks back, and instantly, I became a fan! The Ghana-born, DMV-raised artist has been on the rise since 2016, gracing fans with his witty, poetic freestyles and sultry flow on notables from his discography such as “U Can’t Be My Baby”, “Destiny” and “Jackie Chan”, and I have no doubt that this Friday’s drop won’t disappoint.
