“Hip Hop Til Infinity” Takes Over LA: An Ode to West Coast Legends

Los Angeles is gearing up for the “Hip Hop Til Infinity” exhibition, fresh from its successful run in New York City, a pivotal part of Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50 celebrations. This immersive showcase, opening on January 12 at the Amoeba Store on Sunset Boulevard and running through mid-March, is set to take fans on a journey through the last 50 years of hip hop, with a special focus on the unique contributions of the West Coast.

The exhibition features an impressive roster of West Coast hip hop legends, including Snoop Dogg, the late Nipsey Hussle, Delicious Vinyl, and radio station KDAY. Additionally, it will showcase items from artists like E-40, DJ Shadow, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, and De La Soul. Unique sculptures by Concrete Jungle and exclusive apparel from The Marathon Clothing and Wu-Wear Clothing are also part of the display, highlighting the rich diversity of the West Coast hip hop scene.
