“This city has really represented something of belief to me. Belief that the impossible could happen,” he said during the ceremony where he was awarded with both honors. “That wasn’t just about me, I’m a man for the people. I’m a man for entertainment and entertainment has been my tool, but that belief that was placed the moment that I came here, the roots that now have grown to a Superbowl moment is something to be recognized.”

The GRAMMY-winning artist’s residency My Way – The Vegas Residency has seen Usher enjoying celebrity-filled nights at Dolby Live at Park MGM where he’s serenaded the likes of Keke Palmer, Issa Rae, and more. He even took the residency to Paris for a few shows at La Seine Musicale during Paris Fashion Week this year.

After his residency, which ends on Dec. 2 after more than a year of shows, Usher will be headlining Super Bowl LVIIl in Las Vegas on Feb. 11, which coincides with the release of his ninth studio album, Coming Home. He will announce his world tour on this stage as reported by Billboard.
