Latto is making moves beyond music with a recent $35,000 donation to her Georgia High School alma mater’s homecoming.

The Atlanta rapper visited Lovejoy High School in Georgia on Oct. 6 during the school’s homecoming celebration where she not only donated a hefty check for their homecoming, but also bought the students Wingstop and filmed Tik Toks with the football team. Latto did not specify how the school would spend the funds, but with homecoming costs like venue rentals, clothes, and food, the money is sure to be put to good use.

This isn’t the first time Latto has pooled money together for a good cause. In 2021, the Big Energy singer founded the nonprofit organization Win Some Give Some and partnered with local organization Rainbow House to provide resources for moms in need. The Christmas event called Latto 4 The Ladies & Babies provided families with meals, gift cards, and more.

Musically, Latto is currently promoting her latest single ISSA PARTY, which she released late last month. Users on Tik Tok have created over 900 videos using the song and it is currently popular among high school students celebrating homecoming.
