That Mexican OT is making himself known as one of the most versatile and charismatic rising rappers in the game today. Today, the proud Texan returns to his hometown of Bay City, sharing the video for “Matagorda,” featuring fellow Bay City native Hogg Booma.
In the video, directed by DJ Skelz, OT takes a trip back to B-A-Y C-I-T-Y, swapping between his big body truck and his trusty horse as he mobs out in a parking lot with a crew of compatriots, displaying major pride in their small town.
Produced by Bankroll Got It, is a minor-key stomper that drips with country-fried swagger, providing a perfect Tex-Mex backdrop for OT to talk his smack.
Going back and forth with the deep-voiced Hogg Booma, OT rolls his vowels (and some consonants) as he discusses what his life is like in the Lonestar State: “My choppa got a talking problem, it be stuttering/What—, what—, what—, what he say?/I be talking that shit, put it straight in they face.”
